What does it mean to be Asian in Europe?

NNN EMBASSY is an initiative that explores the practice of Asian artists/designers based in The Netherlands. Together with Leiden University College The Hague - Liberal Arts and Sciences (LUC), we are creating a collective visual archive that focuses on the above key question.

We invite you to think of – rituals, places, objects, food, or traditions that is an updated representation of the global Asian aesthetic. The submission from you will make it possible for us to see what you see so that we will be able to have a broader perspective on the diverse landscape of Asians in Europe, and particularly in The Netherlands.

The collection in the archive will be presented at the closing event of the series on May 29 and at The 11th International Convention of Asia Scholars (ICAS) on 16–19 July 2019.
